Rebeca was born and raised in Mexico City. Before joining Insider, she was a host, reporter, and producer at WNYC, where she launched and hosted “Consider This,” a daily news podcast from NPR and WNYC. You could also hear her guest-hosting WNYC’s “All Things Considered,” “The Brian Lehrer Show,” “All of It,” and “The Takeaway.” She cowrote and produced the critically acclaimed podcast “Scattered.” Before becoming a journalist, Rebeca acted in experimental New York theater. She lives in Austin, Texas.
Before joining The Refresh, Dave was a senior correspondent, senior editor, deputy editor, and homepage editor for Insider. His work has been published in ABC News, USA Today, HuffPost, Forbes, Newsweek, Inc. Magazine, NPR, and elsewhere. He lives in Toronto.
